Kylo Ren was in the hospital ward of his ship, the wounds that the girl Rey had inflicted upon him being tended to by the nursing staff. The gash on his face that was currently being stitched up would always be a reminder of his inadequacies in battle, for he could not even stop an untrained girl with an old light saber. He had to see that girl again. He had to show his power to defeat her. And yet...he could not get her out his mind in other ways.

Something inside of him was forcing him to inflict harm upon her, but another side refused. Maybe there was some other emotion in him?

"Hux...I must find the girl..." He kept pleading as the nurses stitched him. The only response he would get was to stay still unless he wanted more damage done to his face.

He planned his revenge as he viewed his scar in the mirror several hours later. He would take her by surprise, secretly infiltrating the Resistance's base. Instead of acting like an enemy, he would gain their trust by "exiting the first order" and going back home to his mother. He would befriend her, then kill her. It would all go according to plan. He would make sure of it.

When he was fully recovered from his wounds a few weeks later, he discussed his plans with Hux and Phasma. While they agreed to it, they both thought it was a stupid idea for they knew that once attached, Ben Solo could not let go of anyone.

"We can do this, can't we?" a malicious smile spread across Kylo's lips.

"I suppose sir...just... Don't get too caught up in the role..." Was all Hux had to say about the issue.

"I should be able do do that easily." Ren scoffed, walking towards his quarters to prepare.

The next week, he arrived at the resistance planet on a lone X Wing. He did not wear his helmet and began acting upon arrival. All the fighters tried to capture him, but he only dodged, speaking of his mother.

He arrived to his mother's doorstep, pretending to surrender.

"Mother, dearest, i have left the first order, because I have finally seen what it has made me do. I deeply regret everything I have done, and I only wish for your forgiveness, along with a spot in the resistance to fight alongside you," he pleaded, sorrow filling his eyes.

Leia, while saddened that her son had originally left her...and killed his father....she easily forgave him on certain conditions. She had him detained for the moment. She had to make sure what was happening.

Kylo was glad that his plan was going accordingly, and even started going by Ben Solo for the time until his mission was over.

That's when he spotted her...Rey...

As Leia had him transported away from in handcuffs, he could ensue his revenge on the girl.

Rey gave him a dark glare, putting a hand on the blue lightsaber holstered on her thigh, but he only continued his act, looking away, a hidden malice in his eyes.

He sat in his cell alone, stripped of his dark robes for more "Jedi like" clothing that he would normally rather rip to shreds. No, for now, he would sit in wait.

A few hours later, Leia, Finn, and Rey found themselves in his cell.

"M-Mother, oh thank goodness you came back! Care to explain why they are here?" he already knew they were going to question him, test him, and all the like, but he had to act clueless. It would ruin the plan if he didn't.

"Benjamin, cut the shit. I know you're up to something. Tell me what it is," Leia spoke, no compassion behind her voice.

Rey had ignited her light saber, approaching him.

"But mother, there is no shit to cut! I'm not planning anything! Hell, you could even ASK the first order," he shielded his fear. Damn! almost caught!

He began to weep crocodile tears. "Mother...I am so...so sorry for all I have done....please! I just want to go back to you! I'm sorry for what I did to dad!! Please! I can help! I know all of their secrets! I can help you!"

Leia wished to remain cross with her son, but the look he was giving her was too much.

"Please mother...just one more chance!" He begged, looking her in the eyes.

"I will think about it. Your answer will be given to you in a weeks time," She hugged him and walked out, the other 2 trailing behind her, Rey giving him a dark look.

Leia escorted Finn and Rey into her office.

"This is not a decision to be made by his mother. This is a decision to be made by the two who have seen him in battle...the two who were there when he murdered my husband..." Leia spoke, crying.

Rey looked at the princess and shook her head. "General Organa, I feel as though he's up to something. It's something in me that tells me something really bad is going to happen!"

Finn shrugged. "To be honest, during my time as a trooper, I didn't really know him well, but I still get this bad feeling. I don't know...I'm with Rey on this one..."

"I am unsure of what to do. I feel he has sinister intentions, but he is also my flesh and blood....." Leia stood, finding a photo of her family from years ago.

Rey looked over the general's shoulder. She saw in the picture a once happy family. A young mother with a sparkle of hope in her eye. A handsome father with admiration toward his wife and child. An uncle who had a deep connection with his sister and nephew. And lastly was a small, chubby little boy with dark hair and a smile on his face. Though, his eyes had far more life in them than Kylo Ren's did, Little Ben Solo was happy...yet something even then was off about the boy. Almost like an ominous force hovered over him. Rey was actually surprised that Ben was as heavy as he was in the picture. The fit and trim Kylo Ren once looked like a grade school butterball?

"The day he murdered my husband was the first time I saw my son as an adult....I do not see Kylo Ren as my son...for I will always see this version of Ben Solo. I do remember that when he would lie to me, mind you about petty things, his eyes would become dull and his behaviors tended towards fits of rage and stress eating... Rey, Finn, if you see any of these behaviors in my son, alert me, for I will not be able to judge them accurately myself," Leia spoke, beginning to cry.

Rey and Finn nodded, before being released to do their own thing. Rey could not stop thinking of Kylo and his chubby form of his childhood years. She mentally slapped herself. 'Get your head in the game, Rey!'

She imagined the young little boy playing with mock light sabers as he battled his father in play...to only conquer him in the real world. She imagined him eating sweets that his mother baked as a comfort and the probably cause of his childhood potbelly. She slept on her thoughts for a night, trying to piece everything together. She would confront him tomorrow, looking for signs of his lies.

It was the morning of the start of her observation, and Rey was sure she would find something. Before Kylo was a spread of breakfast foods as to see his eating behaviors like Leia said.

"So mummy put you in charge of me, did she? Are you my babysitter now?" He asked, crossing his arms and leaning back on his chair.

Rey rolled her eyes. "I am here to gather vital information for General Organa. I am to ask questions, retrieve informafion, and observe your behavior. I am willing to make these interviews civil and professional, but mind you I have your grandfather's light saber latched to my thigh and I will not hesitate to slash your throat, is that understood?"

While his blood was boiling inside, Kylo Ren simply nodded. How dare this untrained bitch tell him what to do?

"Good. I will start by asking you a simple question. How old are you and what is your real name?"

He merely smirked and bluntly said, "My name is Benjamin Lucas Solo. I am 29 years old."

"Good. The real names of your uncle and grandfather, as well as the name of your sith master."

"Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, better known as Darth Vader, and Master Snoke. When are you going to get to the real questions? You already knew all of this," he said, sipping from his water glass on the desk in front of him.

Rey sighed. "Fine. Why did you kill your father? Why did you kill one of the only people who would have loved you unconditionally?"

Kylo placed a hand to his forehead, lightly munching on his breakfast. "He was getting in the way of my plans. I had to remove him."

"So you didn't view him as a father? Only a piece in the little game of living chess? A mere pawn?" She scolded apprehensively.

"Precisely, young Jedi," he smirked, before finishing the food and the water.

Rey was appalled from the lack of empathy Kylo Ren had for his father. She looked him in the eyes. They were far from dull, meaning he was not lying. However, the food he was eating was getting consumed fast.

Rey glared, a hand placed on her saber. "That is all for today. I will come back tomorrow."

"See you later, Rey," he said with spite in his words.

The next day, as promised, she was there, again asking him more questions. With each question that passed, more food was consumed, and this lead Rey to her conclusion.

When she finally asked him, "What is your intention of being here? Is it hostile?" His eyes became instantly dull. His eyes normally glowed and sparkled but upon his answer of, "Just to redeem myself. I am not here in haste," his eyes became dull and cold.

Her suspicions were being met very fast. To Rey, Kylo Ren appeared to be lying, but to everyone else, the poor soul was there to redeem himself.

She had to tell General Leia. She slammed his cell door shut and ran to her office.

"General Organa! General Organa! He's....He's lying!" Rey shook with every breath she took, rage engulfing her system. "His eyes were dull when I asked him about his intentions on being here. He's eaten as much food as we put in front of him. Something isn't right!"

"I feel the same way, but Finn and Poe see nothing wrong. I do not understand," Leia said, sorrow in her voice as her hands shook. "What would you do, Rey? Would you condemn your own child?" Leia cried, hugging Rey.

"N-No! N-Never! Well..If that's what you really see, then I respect your judgement, General Organa..." Rey said, trying to place her words to comfort the woman who had lost so much.

"Rey, go back to him. Do what you can to really pull him to the light...." Leia begged, tears streaming down her face.

"I'll try..." Rey walked slowly towards his cell, a bit of dread on her face.

He was standing in his cell, waiting for her to return. She noticed the stress eating was getting at him. His gut was a little more filled out than when he came in.

A smirk was written on his face.

"What's the matter, Rey? Did you have a chat with mummy? Did she tell you about my eyes?" Kylo Ren said, glaring at Rey.

"Yes, and because your mom loves you, she's giving you more time, Kylo," Rey spoke with spite.

That's when he pulled the miniature light saber he had been hiding for a week now out of his belt.

"Oh no, Rey. Mummy doesn't need more time. I already have my target set now," he said with a managing chuckle.

"I knew it..." Rey whispered, voice full of rage. "What even do you want, kylo?" He only shook his head, chuckling darkly and twisting his saber around in his hands.

He pinned her to the wall using only his force powers. "I want your head. I want you dead. You humiliated me and I'll be damned if I'll have that again!"

She slowly brought her hand down to her thigh, but Kylo noticed and pulled it from her, throwing the light saber to another part of the room. "Shame, I even thought about having you as my padawan. No matter," he spoke until he felt a bullet go through his middle.

He gasped softly, pressing a hand to the would and removing it to see the fresh red blood dripping from his hand. He staggered, and turned to look at who shot him.

"Drop her now, Ben!!" Leia yelled, holding the blaster in her hands.

"Hah...Oh mummy...I'm terribly sorry, but I can't do that...You see, I need her," he pressed harder at his mid section and hissed at the pain. "Who is this Ben you speak of, anyway..I think he died with his father." He laughed through the pain, clutching his stomach tightly.

Rey reached out to defend herself.

"You're a monster! I gave birth to a monster!" Leia cried, shooting again.

"Is that truly what i am to you, dearest mother?" sarcasm poured heavily over his words, dodging the shot as well as he could, not noticing Rey's lightsaber flying into her hand, the girl revealing the blade and holding it high over her shoulder like a baseball bat.

"You're done, Kylo. Absolutely done," Rey said, holding the light saber at his throat.

"Am I?" He smirked, Princess Leia practically bawling outside the cell. "Seems I've cause quite a commotion. I think mummy is devastated, don't you?"

That's when Rey had an idea. If she couldn't fight him with violence, she would win him over with love. She then, pulled her light saber to the side and did the unexpected; she kissed him.

Kylo gasped, trying to pull away, but Rey pressed against his wound and he growled, kissing back reluctantly.

He felt almost at ease... At peace...He closed his eyes, now with a more calm expression, and kissed back.

She broke away the kiss. Kylo's expression was totally different.

"Wh...What have you done to me?" He shook in both question and the fact that there was a blaster wound in his stomach.
He passed out from the wound, Leia ordering the other soldiers to send him to the hospital ward. She knew what Rey had done. She had brought him to the light.

It had been a month, and Kylo had not awoken from his coma. He was asleep, yes, but in reality, he was pushing himself further into the light, along with the help of his grandfather Anakin's spirit and guidance. He learned from Anakin that the only way he could truly find the light is by loving someone unconditionally. He told him that Rey truly cared about him and would make a wonderful potential partner.

When he finally awoke, he opened his eyes to only have Rey and his mother at his bedside.

"M-Mummy?" He muttered, wondering if it was actually his mom.

"OH! Ben, darling you're awake!" Leia threw her arms around her son and sobbed into his chest, which was a little less full than it was before. How long had he been out?

"Mummy...." He softly petted his mother's hair, careful of the twisted braids.

"I can sense it Ben. You're back to the light. It's a miracle!" Leia cried, caressing his soft dark hair.

"I know. Anakin came to me. He told me what I was doing was wrong. He didn't want me to continue to make the same mistakes that he did. He told me that the only way I can truly find the light is by loving someone..." He then looked over to Rey.

Rey blushed a bit. Yes, it was true, Kylo Ren was no longer his name. He was once again Ben Solo, in the arms of his sobbing mother, now a newly changed person.

Leia composed herself, wiping her eyes.

"I will let you two alone for a while. Thank you, Rey for bringing my son back...." She said, kissing Rey's forehead.

Rey smiled and watched as General Organa walked away, giving one last hug to her son before her intricate braid headband turned the corner.

He looked at Rey. "I truly am sorry. I have hurt so many. I don't deserve to live...." Ben spoke, looking at her.

She cupped his cheek. "You're forgiven. You're free , Ben."

Time skip: 3 years later

"Solo! You're late, man!" Finn pulled the man closer towards him and adjusted his robes. "If you hurt my friend, I'm going to hurt you, got that, Ben?" Ben chuckled, nodding before his robes were fixed and he was rushing down the isle. He got their just before the music began playing.

Today would be the day that he would officially be married to his love, Rey. Being as fashionably as late as ever wasn't really a surprise to the young lady who brought him to the light.

Everyone was waiting for him there. It took him a while to rebuild everyone's trust in him. The first order had been destroyed and it was of his own doing. He had killed everyone involved with it and the Galaxy was once again safe. Now he could relax and fully enjoy all of the leisures of life.

Since there was no one to walk her up the isle, his mother chose to do so, saying that if Han was alive, he would have done it as well.

Rey looked gorgeous, her beautiful dress trailing behind her, and the veil covering her eyes made her seem even more beautiful. The 2 small robots, BB-8 and R2-D2, were rolling in front of her, acting as flower-droids. She met Ben at the end of the aisle.

Rey took his hands. Leia looked at her son and smiled. The old Ben was back for good and would be happy for life now. He would be with a caring, loving wife who would follow him to the ends of the earth. He would do anything for Rey and Leia had finally come to find peace. She kissed both Rey and her son's cheeks and returned to her seat.

Rey looked at the shining, beautiful eyes of the man she would now and forever refer to as her husband. He looked amazingly handsome as he stood here before her. Kylo Ren was long dead and Ben Solo was here to stay forever.

"Rey?" the girl shook out of her trance and nodded. "Do you?" Ben had a slight amount of fear in his eyes, holding her hands tighter.

"Sorry! I do!" She said, snapping out of her daydream. Everyone sighed of relief and laughed, before sitting back down, and clapping as the newlywed couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

"You had me worried for a second!" He said after the kiss, loving her.

"I'm sorry for worrying you, Ben. What's important is that we're married now, right?" She gave him a small peck on the cheek, and grabbed his hand, pulling him along with her as they ran down the isle. He loved her so much. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her.

As for Rey, she was far too head over heels now. She felt horrible that she was the one who gave him the nasty scar on his face.
When they sat down, she lightly traced the outline of the scar with her finger pads, eyes full of sadness, but also with love.

"It's alright, love. It's a reminder of my mistakes," He said, kissing her lightly. He knew she regretted doing this to him.

She nodded, a solemn look on her face as she once again traced the scar. "Still...I'm sorry, love..."

An additional change to Ben besides his personality was the fact that he was looking much more like the little boy in the photo in terms of weight. To cope with his guilt, he began late night food binges. It helped ease his pain and was a lot safer than drugs or anything like that. He loved sweets the best.
Of course, there were still some consequences. Ben now weighed 270 pounds as compared to his previous 200 when Kylo Ren was still around.

When he first began to gain the weight, he thought it was an abomination, and was going to ruin his relationship, but it did quite the opposite. Yes, Rey loved to cuddle the soft mound that was his stomach, and loved cooking for him. He surely didn't expect her to, but he would do anything to make her happy. He loved her more than life itself. He would do anything for her, even kill. Of course, that idea wasn't too far fetched for him. He still found minor temptation from the dark side. And whenever he was tempted, he got nervous, and when he got, nervous, and if there was food lying around, well, let's just say he got his massive share and more, along with cuddles from Rey.

The reception went well. He ate his fill and then some. He felt so stuffed that all of his previous jitters were completely gone. He was also a little tipsy from the wine but that was alright. He felt good and was happy and definitely ready for his wedding night with the woman he loved most.

The couple left early, staying the night in a luxorious suite. Ben carried her bridal style, loving the fact that his life had changed entirely for the better. That the girl in his arms, his wife, was who saved him. The girl in his arms would be there for the rest of his life.

On the way to their suite, she rubbed his distended belly softly, relishing in the soft moans he gave her, until he threw open the door and plopped her down on the bed:

"You're so beautiful," he said, kissing her passionately. He was so in love with her. She was his everything.

"And you're so handsome," she said, tracing the scar she created on his face. He had never been called that prior to being with her. He always found himself ugly.

Rey groped his moob, and slid her hands down do his belly. "You know it' true," she said, kissing his cheek.

He chuckled. "Only to you my dear. And that's all I've ever wanted...." He said, helping her out of her dress. He had her all to himself and that's all she ever wanted. He stripped out of his tux and they began their wedding night.

It was a dream come true for the both of them. He was both strong, and gentle. He tried not to crush Rey, although that was what she wanted. In the end, they went at least 2 more times, and then cuddled.

Ben had never been so happy and so in love in his entire life. He snuggled up to her as close as possible.

Rey was in total bliss, pressing herself as much as she could to his form, and smiled. "Ben, you make me so happy, you know that, right?"

He smiled, his double chin becoming accented. "I can only hope that I can please you, my love. I'm so glad that I can finally call you my beautiful, loving wife." He said, kissing her forehead.

"I'm glad I get to call myself Mrs.Solo now. I love you so much, Ben. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been brought back to the light." With that, she was out.

He was absolutely in awe of his wife. Everything she did was absolutely amazing. She saved him and he would protect her for rest of his life. He would kill anyone who even attempted him harm.  She was his everything. He fell asleep soon after, arms protectively embracing Rey.

Time Skip: 5 years later

"Leyla darling, have you seen your mother?" a very plump Ben Solo asked his precious 4 year old daughter. She was mute, unfortunately, but she was learning to sign, so that was good.

Little Leyla pointed in the direction of the gardens, and Ben gave her a peck on the forehead, before walking towards his wife with his daughter in hand.

The two of them had been living in peace for the past few years as a loving, little family. Ben was a large as ever, being almost 350 pounds, and completely enjoying his calm life of happiness here at their palace. Ben was still a prince after all.

The large man soon found his pregnant wife out in the gardens, tending to some of the foliage.

"You know we pay a gardener to do that?" Ben teased, coming up from behind her.

Rey jumped a bit, turning to her husband. "I do, I just feel a bit helpless, you know? Being 5 months pregnant doesn't mean I can't do small tasks, Ben. I like to work," She giggled, her arms gently wrapping around his waist as far as they could go, careful with her baby bump.

"My love, you are royalty now. You don't need to work. I don't want you or the baby to get hurt," Ben said, his fat stomach sticking into her baby bump. Rey found his large size amazingly attractive.

Rey giggled softly, the movement making the little one kick both their mother and father. "I know, but I simply can't help but feel the need to do something, you know? I still have 4 more months to go, might as well do something, right?" Her hands fell over his stomach, rubbing it tenderly.

Leyla soon followed and tugged at her father's robes. She signed to him that she wanted to be held and of course, Ben could never refuse his precious daughter. She was the only thing that Ben might have loved more than his mother. He always had a soft spot for his little girl. He was wrapped around her little finger.

"I love our wonderful family, Rey...Thank you." he pulled both his girls into a big, gentle hug, relishing in the feeling he had not known of but a few years ago.

Leyla signed to her father that she loved him and he kissed her forehead. "I love you too, my little girl."

"And I love my big girl too." He said, kissing Rey's cheek.

"And we love you too, Ben. All three of us." The family hugged one last time, before venturing further into the gardens for a day full of peace and light.

Leyla began to explore the forest not too far out of her parents sight. Ben and Rey sat in the sun as they watched her.

"I never thought My life would end this way before," he said, looking at the flora's beauty as well as his glowing wife's.

"Well, my dear, I'm so glad it did, because then I wouldn't be able to do this." She pulled him close, placing a lasting kiss on his plump lips, the warmth emitting from him was welcomed with bliss.

In the midst of the kiss, she squeezed his stomach roll. He was so large and fat and soft, Absolutely perfect to her. He squeaked a bit, chuckling softly as his beautiful wife continued to play with his rolls, separating from the kiss to sit on what was left of his lap.

He loved his wife so much. "You three are my everything. You are the absolute joy of my life. I'm glad I found the light in you Rey. It's incredible that we made two little human beings from our love,"he said, cupping her cheek. Leyla sat on her father's little remainder of a lap and snuggled into the two of them. This was the most absolute perfect life and everything they had ever wanted.

"And I you, darling, and I you." She smiled and kissed him as they watched the sunset.
